為促進台灣太空科技與產業發展，國科會責成國家太空中心（TASA）整合重要產官學研組織，並於今（6/20）日宣布，將於今年10月30日起，舉辦一連5天的台灣太空國際年會（Taiwan International Assembly of Space Science, Technology, and Industry, TASTI），包含產業論壇、國際研討會、產業展、學術論文展示，不僅將是台灣太空領域最大規模的國際展會，更盼打造推動台灣太空發展的重要平台，並在亞洲區域成為具重要地位的太空領域盛事。
全球太空領域科技與產業蓬勃發展，台灣也善用科技強項積極展開佈署，在國科會的推動下，達成國家太空中心改制升格的重要里程碑，對於推動台灣太空產業發展來說意義重大；此外，繼至去年已舉辦4屆的國際太空探索研討會（iCASE）後，今年更擴大活動規模為TASTI，以國際展會活動為標竿，打造一站式整合平台，藉以凝聚台灣太空能量，讓各組織保有自身特色，同時合作規劃多種型態的活動，包含產業攤位、學術論文海報、產業論壇、國際研討會等。
TASA今日發布新聞稿指出，首屆TASTI將於今年10月30日至11月3日於台北市南港展覽館2館7樓登場，即日起開放參與者及投稿人透過活動網站線上報名。此次盛會將聯合台灣太空產業發展協會（TSIDA）、台灣低軌衛星產業聯誼會（TLEOSIA）、台灣太空科學聯盟（TSU）、國際導航衛星掩星觀測研討會（ICGPSRO）、台灣太空輻射環境驗測聯盟（TSREVTA）等重要產官學研界組織及重大活動共同舉辦。

依據國科會及主辦單位TASA的規劃，今年的台灣太空國際年會（TASTI）論壇與研討會的主題豐富多元，包括通訊衛星、衛星先進技術、立方衛星技術、新太空、太空韌性、太空運輸、全球導航衛星系統掩星/反射訊號技術觀測及相關技術應用、TSU衛星科學工作坊、太空產業論壇、太空法治與政策、學生立方衛星競賽等。
TASA指出，乘著太空產業的蓬勃發展浪潮，台灣在國際太空產業中扮演著關鍵角色，此次TASTI將匯集來自台灣和國際太空發展領域的企業、科學、技術研究單位等精英人士，此外也正在積極邀請國際太空領域的知名公司和重要人士參與，預計參與人數將達1500人參與，是台灣最大規模的太空領域盛會。

2023年的首屆TASTI的指導委員會，由國科會副主委林敏聰出任主席，擔任國科會航太、電信、空間、大氣及地科學門的召集人成功大學航太系教授鄭金祥、中正大學電機系教授張盛富、台灣大學土木系教授韓仁毓、中央研究院環變中心研究員周崇光、中央大學太遙中心教授張中白，也受邀出任指導委員會，成員還包括身兼TSIDA理事長的TASA主任吳宗信、TSU主席葉永烜、國科會自然處長羅夢凡、工程處長李志鵬、成功大學地科系教授林建宏、台灣海洋聯盟召集人蔣國平、成功大學航太系講座教授趙怡欽、農委會農航所長吳淑華、中央氣象局副局長馮欽賜、中央大學太遙中心研究員陳良健、陽明交大機械系教授陳宗麟、成功大學電機系教授莊智清、中央大學太空科學與工程系教授劉正彥、清華大學天文所教授張祥光、長庚大學電子工程系教授陳始明、太空產業協會秘書長朱崇惠、低軌衛星聯誼會的工研院產服中心執行長陳立偉、美國UCAR資深研究員郭英華等專家共襄盛舉。

Taiwan's space technology and industry are poised to soar to new heights as the Taiwan Space Agency (TASA) and the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) join forces to consolidate key players from industry, government, academia, and research institutions. We are thrilled to announce the launch of the much-anticipated Taiwan International Assembly of Space Science, Technology, and Industry (TASTI), set to take place for five days starting from October 30th this year.

The event will feature a diverse range of activities, including industry forums, international symposiums, industrial exhibitions, and academic paper presentations. With the goal of becoming the largest international space exhibition in Taiwan, TASTI aims to establish itself as a crucial platform for driving Taiwan's space development and becoming a significant event in the Asian space sector.

Collaboratively organized by prominent organizations and conferences like the Taiwan Space Industry Development Association (TSIDA), Taiwan Low Earth Orbit Satellite Industry Association (TLEOSIA), Taiwan Space Science Union (TSU), International Conference on GPS Radio Occultation (ICGPSRO), and Taiwan Space Radiation Environmental Verification & Testing Alliance (TSREVTA), TASTI is expected to attract 1,500 participants, making it the largest space event in Taiwan.

The event will encompass themes such as Solutions to Communication Satellites, Advanced Technologies of Satellites, CubeSat Technologies, New Space, Space Resilience and International Activities, Space Transportation, and GNSS-RO/R, alongside various workshops and competitions.

TASTI highlights Taiwan's crucial role in the global space industry, bringing together elite minds from Taiwan and across the globe. Renowned companies and industry leaders are actively invited to participate, ensuring a rich exchange of ideas and fostering innovation in the space sector.
